One Year, Six Months

So it has been over 6 months since I have blogged. Boy, have the times changed in those 6 months. About 3 months ago we added to our family. Her name is Kimber and we think she is a black lab/pit bull mix. You make the call:Since then she has brought laughter and frustration to our lives. When you fall in love with a puppy you forget about all the work that they are. Here is how Kimber came to be in our family. Billy was working at the call center still and a girl at work brought her in to show everyone. The puppy needed a home. The litter she was in was dropped off on a lady's porch that works with the husband of the girl from Billy's work. (Did you get that?) So we are unsure of what she is. Billy texted me a picture of a woman holding the puppy and asked if I wanted it. I had to clarify if he meant the puppy or the woman. I was completely shocked when he said the puppy. Billy had been talking about getting a puppy for a while but I thought he was just talking. So of course I fell in love with the idea of having a puppy but not remembering how much work they are! So that night I had to run out and buy everything we needed for her and we picked her up the next day. Billy wanted to call her Kimber after a hand gun company he likes and I wanted to call her Macy. You see who won that one. =) I get to name the next addition to our family then! =)

Now Kimber is almost 5 months old and has ALOT OF ENERGY! But with a little sweat and tears I think we should be able to train her in the coming year!
